We had our ceremony and reception at Suzuka circuit bridal hall.
We reserved another room as a waiting room for our guests.
The room was designed with two different styles. Half the room
had a full bar and the other half was for our guests take part
in the tea ceremony. While I was getting ready, everyone was
having drinks and Japanese tea.

Then after I was ready, we all went outside and our photographer
took apicture with everyone together. I was so happy that
the weather was good and the skies were clear that day,
because it was supposed to be raining.



After the photo, everyone went to the hall and found their seat
with their personalized name card, then a DVD with our
biographies was played. Our MC welcomed everyone and opened
the party. Everyone was expecting us to come out, but we played
a little prank on them.My parents actually came out first. They
were laughing so hard, and then my sisters came out next, and
then finally it was my turn. I came out without John,so everyone
was trying to find him. He was hiding at a table near the front.
We all went over to him and there, and hugged him.

Finally, our ceremony started... Our flower girls came out. I was
kind of worried because they were shy, but they did a great job!!
The ring bearer boys also did great, and they were so cute.



Mr. Chotai whom I have known since I was a little girl, conducted
the ceremonyfor us. It was beautiful. My grandma sang a
traditional Japanese congratulation song to finish up the
ceremony.

Then it was time to cut our cake. The cake was exactly what I was
looking for! Normally two of us cut the cake, but we also wanted
to do it with my parents since it is thier 30th anniversary. They
didn't know about this, so they were really surprised. Our cake
was served later as a dessert with green tea ice cream, John's
favorite.

After the ceremony my former nanny gave a very nice
congratulatory speech. Then, John welcomed and thanked our
guests in Japanese. I was really impressed because he gave
such a great speech in front of everyone with his second
language.

Then it was time for dinner. The head chef in the Suzuka
hotel prepared an amazing course meal for us.
The main theme for our wedding was to give thanks to each of our
guests,so we started with their introductions. We also thanked
them for always being supportive of us. We gave each of them a
mini gift of customized M&Ms with our names and a thank you
message.
After we had introduced about half of our guests, it was time to
change clothes. We did another prank again. Everyone was
expecting John and I to come out, but it was actually John and
my Grandma wearing hakama traditional danceoutfits ready to do
a Kenbu dance. While I was getting my hair and makeup and
putting my other dress on, they danced together. Everyone was
impressed with how well John danced!!



Then he quickly changed, and both of us come out together with
my other grandma. Since one of my grandmas came out with John
already, we wanted to do something with the other grandma as
well.


There were so many people who sent us video letters. John was
really surprised when we played the messages from his family;)
We also got messages from head of Formula One, Vice President
of NASCAR, well known sumo wrestlers, and a TV personality
etc... We were so thankful that they did for us.

Close to the end of our party, we had a mini concert.
Mr. Takahara is a good friend of my family and he is a famous
singer and songwriter. Everyone was so excited and it was
so cool.


After the concert we went to the table where my family was sitting,
and thanked them. Mom and Dad both gave a small speech.
Everyone was expecting that they would mainly be speaking
about the bride and that kind of stuff, but they said they were
very happy to have gained a son and they told us not to forget
that family is the most important thing in life.

Then we went back to our seat, and the MC told us that there is a
guest who wants to congratulate us. Yeah, it was Honda's Asimo!!
Both of us didn't know abou it, so we were surprised. Our guest
left thier seats and started taking a picture of Asimo more than
us. Oh well we can't help it becuase he is famous...



After Asimo gave us a gift, we had our flower girls and ring
bearer boys come up. We gave them all a little gift. I'm so
glad that they liked what we got for them. Right before the
end of the reception, John and I both gave a little speech.
Basically we thanked all of the guests for being there with
us and we want to continue to have them in our lives and
further our relationship with them.

I still can't believe that we had such a awesome party.
I want to thank the Suzuka Circuit staff and sound team
who helped prepared everything for us. Most of all I want
to thank my parents who threw the best party for us.They
have always been very supportive and have tried to give
their best to us.

We love you sooooo much!!

Bridal Fair in Suzuka ③

今回はジョンが日本に来ていたので、、ブライダルフェア

に一緒に参加することができました。今回はいろいろな

テーマで飾りがされていてすごくかわいかったなぁ。♪

ピンクのテーマのところはナプキンがリボン状に

なっていてめっちゃおしゃれだったよ。

高砂に一緒に座ってみたけど、わたしの背が
低すぎて、かなり背伸びをしてみました。（笑）
お花はなるべく低めのものにした方が良い事
が判明したよ。 嶋地先生がお花を担当して
下さるそうで、とても楽しみにしています。

Bridal Fair in Suzuka ②

またまた鈴鹿サーキットのブライダルフェアに行って

きました。今回は、ピンクとブラックがテーマでかっこいい

雰囲気でした。わたし達のテーマカラーに近いので、

参考にさせてもらいました。

招待状が出来上がっていたので、受け取りました。
すごくいい感じになっていて、うれしぃ～。
早めにGuestのみなさんに発送しなくてはいけないなぁ。

これからたくさんのプランニングをしていくんだけど、
いろいろな方達の協力があってこそ、出来ることだと思ってます。
ジョンとわたしがみなさんに感謝の気持ちを最大に表す事が
できれば、ベストだなぁ。思い出に残るようなパーティーに
したいなぁ～♪

☆ゴ～ルデンウィ～ク☆

全然更新してませんでした。いろいろと忙しくてねぇ。（言い訳・・・）
なんかあっという間にゴールデンウィークが終わっちゃった（泣）
今回は西宮に行ってきたよ♪良にい＆はるみねいの新居を
見てきましたぁ。すっごくかわいいお家でした。写真をっと言いたい
けど、残念！撮りませんでした。また次回のお楽しみね。
あ～たくさんやる事があるのに、なかなか進まないよぉ～。

Spring is Here!!

家族みんなと一緒に静岡に行ってきたよ。

どこもSakuraが満開でとってもキレイだったなぁ~。

桜を見ると「春がやっときたなぁ~」って感じに

なるよね。Hotspringsに入ってリラックス

できたし、サイコ~な旅行でした。

ブログStart!!

ブログなんて～って思ってたけれど、私達の近況など
離れていたり、どこにいても分かってもらえるのには
Bestだと思い始めました。

まだまだブログは始めたばかりなので、よく分かっていない
けど、ちょこちょこ更新して行きま～す。
